Co-Founder / CTO (f/m/d) – Early-Stage Startup (Renovation / PropTech / AI / ML)

Buildings account for around 35 percent of total final energy consumption in Germany. At least 7.3 million private buildings in Germany would need to be renovated to improve their energy efficiency. And that's just Germany.
We want to develop digital products that can serve this large market, represent a successful business model and, last but not least, help to reduce CO2 emissions.

Your tasks:

Develop a product vision and roadmap in close coordination with our existing Founder team that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
Drive the development of prototypes (rapid prototyping) and the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in close
Product (MVP) in close collaboration with our customers.
Build and lead a cross-functional team of developers, designers and other experts to bring the product to life.
Define and track key performance metrics, analyze product performance and user engagement to drive continuous improvement.

Your profile:

Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to think creatively in a dynamic startup environment, recognize opportunities and change strategies as needed.
Proven track record as a Software Developer, AI / ML Engineer, Team Lead Tech, CTO or in a comparable role with hands-on experience in a high-growth startup or software company, ideally already with founding experience.
Sound technical knowledge in AI / ML, software development, architecture and related technologies.
Experience in rapid prototyping, developing minimal viable products and building scalable product architectures.
Excellent communication skills to make technical concepts understandable to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaboration between teams.
Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of innovation, ownership and performance.
Strong communication skills in German and English.

Deine Aufgaben:

Entwicklung einer Produktvision und Roadmap in enger Abstimmung mit unserem bisherigen Founder-Team, welche mit den Geschäftszielen und Kundenbedürfnissen übereinstimmen.
Vorantreiben der Entwicklung von Prototypen (Rapid Prototyping) und des Minimum Viable
Product (MVP) in enger Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Kunden.
Aufbau und Leitung eines funktionsübergreifenden Teams aus Entwicklern, Designern und anderen Experten, um das Produkt zum Leben zu erwecken.
Definition und Verfolgung wichtiger Leistungskennzahlen, Analyse der Produktleistung und des Nutzereinsatzes, um kontinuierliche Verbesserungen zu erzielen.

Dein Profil:

Unternehmerisches Handeln und die Fähigkeit, in einem dynamischen Startup-Umfeld kreativ zu denken, Chancen zu erkennen und Strategien bei Bedarf zu ändern.
Nachgewiesene Erfolgsbilanz als Software Developer, AI / ML Engineer, Team Lead Tech, CTO oder in einer vergleichbaren Funktion mit praktischer Erfahrung in einem wachstumsstarken Startup oder Softwareunternehmen, bestenfalls bereits mit Gründungserfahrung.
Fundierte technische Kenntnisse in AI / ML, Softwareentwicklung, Architektur und verwandten Technologien.
Erfahrung in Rapid Prototyping, Entwicklung von Minimal Viable Products und Aufbau skalierbarer Produktarchitekturen.
Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, um technische Konzepte für nicht-technische Interessengruppen verständlich zu machen und die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Teams zu fördern.
Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit, funktionsübergreifende Teams zu leiten und zu motivieren und dabei eine Kultur der Innovation, Eigenverantwortung und Performance zu fördern.
Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch.
